Characteristics: High stepping with exaggerated action. Well-shaped heads with a straight profile, long, slim, arched necks, well-defined withers, sloping shoulders, correct leg conformation, and strong level backs with well-sprung ribs. The croup is level with a high-carried tail. Carries itself with an attitude - "class", presence, quality, style, or charm - in every movement.
Weight/Height: 900 to 1,000 lb (410 to 450 kg); 15 to 16 hands (60 to 64 inches, 152 to 163 cm)
Colors: Any color permissible
Activities: Competitive trail riding, endurance riding, dressage, combined driving, eventing, show jumping, trail, pleasure
Health: Lordosis : swayback, low back or soft back
