Persian Colour Point cat Fact File
Origins: Also known as Himalayan Persian. Result of crossing Persian with a Siamese in 1931.
Appearance: Typical Persian looks, strongly built with short legs, small ears, domed head, flat face, long hair, blue eyes and color points.
Weight/Height: 3.5-5kg; 20-25cm tall.
Coat Colours: Lilac point, blue point, seal point, cream point, chocolate point, and redpoint with blue eyes.
Character/Temperament: Gentle, loving, intelligent, laid-back.
Grooming: Daily grooming to prevent matting. Regular bathing.
Longevity/Health: 9-15 years. Polycistic Kidney Disease (PKD), Progressive Retina Atrophy (PRA), breathing issues, hairballs, teeth, nails.
