Appearance: Decidedly square and chunky, it is ‘multum in parvo’, muscular.
Weight/Height: 25-33cm; 6-8kg
Coat Colours/Texture: Soft, smooth, short, glossy. Silver, apricot, fawn or black.
Grooming: Weekly brush with soft bristle brush or hound glove. Does shed.
Character/Temperament: Great charm, dignity and intelligence. Even-tempered, happy and lively disposition.
Compatibility with other animals/cats: Very good
Compatibility with people/children: Very good.
Indoors/Outdoors: Family dog - indoors primarily, but enjoys outdoors for exercise.
Exercise/Training: Easy to train. Moderate exercise. Avoid exercise in hot or humid weather.
Longevity/Health: Up to 15 years. Sometimes there are eye problems, breathing issues, Pug Dog Encephalitis, Patella Luxation, obesity
