Origins: Russia. Blue - naturally occuring. Black, tabby, white bred since 1971 derived from blue. .
Appearance: Russian Blue: plush, short hair, dense coat, with glimmering grey coat and green eyes.
Black Russian, White Russian (accepted in some countries) - same appearance excepting for coat colour.
Weight/Height: 3.5 - 7kg; 20-25cm.
Coat Colours: Russian Blue: Grey hair with silver tip giving it a sheen.
Black Russian : Black hair, White Russian : White hair. (colours accepted in some countries)
Grooming: Short, quick brush daily. Loves food - tendency to obesity. .
Character/Temperament: Curious, peaceful, sensitive to human emotions. Reserved around strangers. Athletic. Highly intelligent.
Longevity/Health: 15-20 years. Not many health issues.
